LET God

Let's not waste any time, here it goes, I PASSED THE LET!

Wohooo! Definitely one of the best things that ever happened to me! Finally, there's one thing that I can be most proud of myself and say, "may napatunayan na rin ako sa sarili ko."

The LET was all on me. No preparation, no review. I was so cool and steady the whole time. I just told myself, "I'm ready." And I guessed that helped me quite a lot.

Sabi nila, PRC will release the LET results on November 9, so since November 9, the PRC site where they will post the LET passers has been on bookmark on my laptop, iPod, iPad and tablet already. Then, last week they announced that they might post the results on November 28. But you know what they say, they can be huge thief in the night. PRC posted the results on November 26 which was really unexpected! I was scrolling my iPad on the list of the passers, it started with surnames that start at letter "A." When I'm already in the surnames that start with "Bo", my scrolling speed suddenly decreases. Hahaha. I don't know. I don't want to get disappointed or something. Slowly but surely I scrolled through the page and saw my surname, BULATAO, then my name, KRISTINE AMIEL CARINGAL. I can't believe it! It really is my name! OHMYGOD! Then I went all screaming and shouting like a bomb inside our room. I immediately called my Mom and told my family. Dad was out of reach coz he was in duty, but I was able to call him a few hours later.

Could you believe it? Me? A licensed Math teacher! I wish I could practice it sooner! Maybe after Med? Maybe? Maybe? Then bring it on! :)

But above this success, I'd love to thank, with all my heart, my Mommy and Daddy, my brother and sister Piye and Jaja respectively, my whole family/relatives, who were always there to support me, my friends who always insisted me that I can do it, most especially Axl :), to my former teachers who taught me so well and to the One and only God, I'll never be here without Him.

I offer this to each and everyone of you. Thank you so much! :)

I still can't calm my emotions, is this normal? Hahaha.

College graduation day

School days are officially over. I am done with school. Coz college graduation is finally here!

This the day that I've been waiting for, to be able to tell myself that I made it. I MADE IT!

I don't know what to say but here's what happened.

Massive thank you to everyone who were a part of my college years. I won't drop names but you know who you are. Thank you so much for being a huge part of it!

Thank you to my family! Thank you Lord! :)

Baccalaureate Mass 2012

Hassle in the morning. But worth it through out the night.

First of all, thank you Lord for the very beautiful weather. I am really convinced that you really love us Thomasians.

It felt like the freshmen walk we had 4 years ago! The same batch I held the freshmen walk with and the same batch that I will celebrate the bacc mass with. What I was feeling is not explainable. At first I couldn't believe that I made it but then I just realized, I did! I totally made it!

Thank you Mommy and Daddy! Thank you Jaja and Piye! Thank you Lord! <3

EJ Send Off Party

March 21, 2012, we held our EJ send off party for the school year 2011-2012. Don't wanna say this but it was my last EJ event as a student of the College of Education.

We tipped off with the EIC's speech and updating everyone with the EJ 2's status. Then the turn-over.

It was fun being the Education Journal's photographer for 3 years and being the Arts Editor for a year. I seriously grew as a photographer with EJ. I learned a lot, not only with the skills but the values too.

To cut the long story short, after the turn-over, there was a little message from our adviser Dr. Santiago, two games headed by our Associate Editor Kitel which were really fun I must say. Go Team Balasubas! Hahaha. Then everyone's favorite part and an EJ tradition, pizza time!

All the graduating members of the EJ were given the chance to speak out to everyone their thoughts and share just anything about EJ at least before they leave. And yes, I was one of them. But I swear, I didn't care. Though I was about to! But I had to prevent myself to doing it so. Hahaha. My fellow graduating EJ members, I was touched with each of your speech. I will definitely miss each and everyone of you. You are a big part of my college life. :)

Thank you so much to each and every people that I shared my EJ-life with. You are the best family that I ever had in my college life! You guys made college life worth while. Thank you thank you so much! I am going to miss everyone! Especially the EJ office, prolly one of my best tambayans. :)

I'll  try to visit the EJ office as much as I can starting next school year. And just in case that you need my help, I'm always open to you guys.

And by the way, here's the last AVP that I did for EJ. It was supposed to be shown during the send off part but failed to because the LCD projector wasn't available that time. So here you go! This is just a slideshow of all the events that we had this school year regarding EJ. Some photos are not mine though.

I LOVE YOU EDUCATION JOURNAL! <333

Pokegon

The ultimate geometry anime!

One of our requirements for our Math SemTech is to produce an instructional video based on the topic we're assigned to. Our group was assigned to Geometry. Sounds easy yea? A little bit. Haha.

We decided to do an "adventure" type of instructional video from the likes of Pokemon and named it Pokegon. Instead of the normal Pokemons playing the role of the Pokemons, in our case the different polygons and solid figures will represent as the Pokemons known as the Pokegons. Clever, I know. It was Addam's idea.

I think I don't need to tell everything but here's our intro clip. The whole file is really huge and I'm still thinking of how I can compress it though. Nonetheless, enjoy this clip!

Community development part 2

Our second community development for this year! I posted the part 1 here.

This was last February 18 near the Sto. Domingo church, I really can't remember the name of the place. I'm sorry.

Attended the Sunday mass at Sto. Domingo church at 8 am then proceeded to the site right after the mass.

Me and my partner She just played the whole time. Hahaha. We weren't prepared! But we did a little talk about Math and the bible too. While the rest were all playing and dancing. Haha.

When we got there.

The place.

Preparation.

Had 2 boxes of these.

Math majors and 4 from the TLE majors.

Then lunch time! At Station 54 Cafe. It was a cool place! They have good food plus it's kinda cheap too!

It was tiring but was all worth it! :)

PS. Some pictures are not mine.
