#10BasicFactsAboutMe

This was trending on twitter for a couple of days. But not until now. Haha. Just want to make this post to share my own thoughts. Yea. So I'm just basically sharing. Read if you're interested and you may leave if you're not. Doesn't matter. :)

10) I started playing volleyball when I was in grade 5.
As far as I can remember the reason why I started playing volleyball was because I was inspired by the girls and boys I used to watch at the Palarong Pambansa when I was in grade 5. And that started it all.

9) I learned how to play the guitar when I was in grade 6.
I don't know how I started or what triggered me to play the guitar. Haha. But I am so glad I know how to. Only few girls can. :)

8) One of my pet peeves is seeing cars with white head lights.
These things can cause accidents! So if you know anyone who uses white head lights, please do tell them to change it. Too nakakasilaw!

7) Every Friday is milk tea day.
This practice only started this January. Mejo magastos but carry naman. I just love milk tea!

6) I'm a music junky. I love different kinds of music in different ways.
My genre is rock and pop rock. But that doesn't stop me from liking other genres too. I know how K-Pop music is all around the Philippines today but I just don't get it. I guess I don't really like them.

5) I seldom use my phone for texting.
True. Hahaha. I don't even know why I have one. Maybe just to keep in touch with people but not that katext type of person.

4) I love England. Someday I want to live there.
Everything about England is lovable! Peter Pan is made based on England. Harry Potter is from England. One of my favorite series, Skins, is from England. One of my favorite boys, One  Direction, is from England. The beautiful clock tower known as Big Ben is located in England. And many beautiful people came from England. What a beautiful place to be.

3) I'm a shy person.
Isn't it obvious? I don't talk that much. Unless I'm with someone whom I am so comfortable with.

2) I keep too many secrets to myself.
And that's a secret!

1) I love One Direction.
These boys are making me happy nowadays. Most especially the sexy beast Harry Styles. My dear Lord he's really gorgeous. I love his curls! Hahaha. These boys are uhmayzhing! Not only they look good, but they can really sing. Like actually sing sing. I listen to their album everyday! It only makes me fall in love with them even more. <3

That was fun! Hahaha. Maybe I can share more some other time. When I got nothing to blog maybe. Haha. See ya! :)

"Sana matapos na off-campus."

Has always been our favorite line since we started our shift for our off-campus training.

But the truth is, I miss everything about off-campus now that we're done. :(

First of all, I am not a good teacher. Nor an effective whatsoever thing teacher you can call me. I'm the just-do-whatever-you-want-to-teach-them kind of teacher. So I don't know if I really did well on my off-campus.

Whatever the case, I enjoyed it to the fullest! I learned a lot from this off-campus teaching I just had. This probably is the most memorable teaching experience I'll ever have, yet.

It was hard at first but as days go by, I got used to it already. I have to admit I always get nervous every time I step in to Ramon Magsaysay High School's gate. Hahaha. Trust me, I do.

I will miss everything about Monsay.
  • Late night preparation.
  • Counting the hours from our time card.
  • Having to rush after our EHS class to get to Monsay even if it's just a block away.
  • Asking my critique teacher what to do for the next day.
  • Going home late at night.
  • My students, especially from II Einstein and Edison.
  • Tusok-tusok moments before going home.
  • Having to take the stairs to get to the Math laboratory.
  • Math laboratory kulitan with Ponzi, Katre, Louise and Robert.

And more! There's so much more that I will miss about Monsay. :)

So, to everyone who have been a part of my off-campus teaching, my co-Math majors, my critique teacher, Monsay Math teachers, my students, thank you thank you very much! You will all be remembered.

Thank you for the memories. ^^,

PS.
Walang halong drama. I'm just saying. :))

1,200php

Last January 7, 2012, my family went to SM North Edsa to do a little bonding and stuff. When I reached my favorite clothes store, which is American Boulevard, can't resist not buying these. Since they're on sale, the urge of buying them is even greater!

So, what did I get?

I got this one for 199.75php.

This green round cap is not on sale. It costs 699.75php.

My favorite football top! Got this for 199.75php.

And this one for 199.75php too!

Basically, the clothes were 199.75php each besides the round cap. 1, 200php for 4 items! Solb! :)

So happy with my purchase.

Simple Plan Saved My Life

Currently on Twitter's top 7 trending topic in the Philippines and top 8 worldwide. How cool is that!

Simple Plan has always been a part of my childhood. I've always liked their songs Addicted, I'm Just A Kid, Shut Up, Perfect and more. They were hiatus for a long time and got back with their third album where I liked their songs When I'm Gone, Your Love is A Lie and more. And now, they're back with their fourth album, Get Your Heart On!

I was so happy that one of their songs, Can't Keep My Hands Off You, is included in the soundtrack of a Disney movie, Prom. I was hooked up with that song, until I learned about their song Jet Lag. If my iPod's on twitter, the song Jet Lag is the top trending topic. It was on always on repeat!

To admit it, I was in love with the song Jet Lag since then. Then I remembered how I loved the band Simple Plan since I was a child. I always dreamed of jumping and head banging with the band live, and this concert tour definitely made it happen.

The time I saw the poster, I was like, "DEFINITELY GOING THERE!" Was supposed to buy the VIP ticket which costs 4,500php but I got no one to go with.

In the end, decided to buy the upper box b ticket, one for me and one for Yayen. He had to accompany me. It was my treat. Hahaha.

I don't have any decent photo of them on stage because they look small back from where I was standing. But here are some. And the rest are photos I grabbed from Simple Plan Philippines website.

Arrived Araneta at exactly 8pm, just when Kamikazee is about to play their first song. Here's Kamikazee opening for Simple Plan.

At 9:10 in the evening, the band showed up! I was up on till then until the end of the show. I almost cried during the concert. I'm just so happy to see them live. It has always been my dream. I never thought I'd see them live.

The next time they'll be here, I'm be the one in front. I'll buy the most expensive ticket! Coz by that time I'm sure I have a job already and will really save up for Simple Plan. I love them like that!

I don't know what to say anymore. I'm just so happy.

The following photos are not mine. :)

I LOVE YOU SIMPLE PLAN! TILL WE MEET AGAIN. :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Went to a mini-party organized by my cousins and friends.
We stayed there form 2 am to 6 am! Define fun!
Posted it on a separate blog, here.

Before leaving Naga, I had to go out with my bestfriend for one last time. Spent the whole night with Ijei at Moonleaf tea shop from 9pm to 12am on January 1. Still posted on a separate blog. Just click here.

January 2, 2012.
So long sweet Naga. Off to Manila we go!

It may not be the perfect nor the best Christmas break for me, but at least I get to spend it with my family and close friends. One word that describes my 2011 Christmas season: BROKE! Hahaha. :))

And for the record, I didn't have too much alcohol during this break. I had a lot coffee! Hahaha. I drink alcohol for only twice or thrice only and the rest was coffee. Not too much milk tea and soda too. Just coffee.

What a way to end the year 2011! It was fun having lots of ups and downs, well more downs actually. 2011 is not the year for me. If I were to give a scale with 10 being the happiest and 1 being the saddest, it'll be a 3. So sad but true. I didn't enjoy 2011 that much. It was an offset year for me. And definitely boring.

So, hello 2012! Please be my year! Everything's so good so far. We'll see. ^^,)

Moonleaf Naga

January 1, 2012. First day of the year.

Went to mass with my family at 6pm at the Basilica church. Then, home. Haha.

But then again, I was out at 9pm. It was my first time to try the new tea shop in Naga, Moonleaf. Though I had a few cups in Manila I know I had to try here also, maiba lang. So, I went to Moonleaf with my best friend Ijei, sister Jaja and her boyfriend Bats.

I have to say, wintermelon really is good. Love it! :)

Meet my best fried in the world, Ijei! :)

Yes, we're vain like that.

Jaja and Bats.

I'll miss her so much. See you on summer!

Spent the rest of the night from 9 to 12 talking about a lot of stuff. You know how girls do that. Talked about a lot of "stuff." And when I say "stuff" that's a lot.
