What's hot

Howdie! It's been 5 months since I last updated my blog. It was all a huge personal issue. I guess I'm back? Hopefully. Despite all the busy-ness I may have to encounter for the next 4 years of my life.

Anywaaaaaay, what's up readers? I miss my blog sooooooooo muuuuuuuuuuuuch! I pray that I may update at least 1 blog post per week.

Basically, I just want to blog because of these 3 things:
1. I'm in medschool everyone! Say hello to that! Who would have thought. Seriously, who would have thought. I'm a math major, please. :)) Huge huge huge adjustment here.

2. I want to share my current playlist. But that'll be in a separate blog post when I find time to do so.

3. UAAP SEASON 76 is up! And we're currently in a 2-0 win-lose standing. Go USTe!

Anyone in here saw today's ADMU-DLSU match? It was intense! And high quality basketball! La Salle FINALLY slipping a win through the Ateneo winning streak against them. I know how heart-breaking it is for the Ateneans to see their team at the bottom, but guys, don't lose hope, it's just the beginning and it's a long way up to the last day of the elimination round. You will get through. :) And props to La Salle for winning! I always knew that this year's La Salle team would be a tougher one compared to the La Salle team last year. It's a good thing UST was able to win despite the overtime though. Haha.

I personally would like to commend Chris Newsome of Ateneo. What a rookie! He's got the moves and the mental toughness an effective player has to have. This guy is future.

That's all for now folks! Have to study for Physio and Ana in a while. Till next! :)

PS.
Please forgive my side bar panel for it still need to be updated, especially my details.

Glob I miss my blog!

UAAP volleyball

I was able to witness the UST vs DLSU UAAP women's volleyball match last January 26, 2013 at the San Juan Arena. Was expecting La Salle to win and they didn't let me down. Oh well UST. Haha. Anyway, here are some of my shots! Used a Nikon D7000 camera. Not so steady shots but atleast! :)

Can't wait for finals! I hope UST can catch up really soon and will make it to the finals! :)

LET God

Let's not waste any time, here it goes, I PASSED THE LET!

Wohooo! Definitely one of the best things that ever happened to me! Finally, there's one thing that I can be most proud of myself and say, "may napatunayan na rin ako sa sarili ko."

The LET was all on me. No preparation, no review. I was so cool and steady the whole time. I just told myself, "I'm ready." And I guessed that helped me quite a lot.

Sabi nila, PRC will release the LET results on November 9, so since November 9, the PRC site where they will post the LET passers has been on bookmark on my laptop, iPod, iPad and tablet already. Then, last week they announced that they might post the results on November 28. But you know what they say, they can be huge thief in the night. PRC posted the results on November 26 which was really unexpected! I was scrolling my iPad on the list of the passers, it started with surnames that start at letter "A." When I'm already in the surnames that start with "Bo", my scrolling speed suddenly decreases. Hahaha. I don't know. I don't want to get disappointed or something. Slowly but surely I scrolled through the page and saw my surname, BULATAO, then my name, KRISTINE AMIEL CARINGAL. I can't believe it! It really is my name! OHMYGOD! Then I went all screaming and shouting like a bomb inside our room. I immediately called my Mom and told my family. Dad was out of reach coz he was in duty, but I was able to call him a few hours later.

Could you believe it? Me? A licensed Math teacher! I wish I could practice it sooner! Maybe after Med? Maybe? Maybe? Then bring it on! :)

But above this success, I'd love to thank, with all my heart, my Mommy and Daddy, my brother and sister Piye and Jaja respectively, my whole family/relatives, who were always there to support me, my friends who always insisted me that I can do it, most especially Axl :), to my former teachers who taught me so well and to the One and only God, I'll never be here without Him.

I offer this to each and everyone of you. Thank you so much! :)

I still can't calm my emotions, is this normal? Hahaha.

Signum: The EJ Campus Journalism Seminar

Posted a blog about it before the talk, here.

Basically, I just had my first ever photography and arts talk. Me, speaker? I mean yes! First ever! And I'm very happy about it. Thank you so much Education Journal for the wonderful experience. I'm just hoping that it'll not be my last though. Haha. I looooove sharing what I know, especially when it comes to stuff where I know I am very knowledgeable of. I don't know, my experience in EJ has taught me well. :)

But before I show you some of the happenings at the seminar, let me show you what I wore. Parang fashion blogger eh noh? Haha. I rarely wear something very girly! I'm a t-shirt-shorts-sneakers kind of girl. So, here's a photo of me wearing a skirt for a change. Don't fret. Just laugh. Hahaha. :))

I'm the second speaker so here's Rommel, the first speaker who talked about News and Features Writing.

As for me, I don't have any photo of me while I'm having my talk. :(( My camera's with me because I need it once in a while to demo some of the techniques chorva. So unfortunately, you know. But here's one of the techniques/tips/effect that I showed the audience, the burst effect, one of my personal favorites.

After my talk was lunch at the EJ office. I miss this kind of scenery!

Say hello to the new EJ faces! :)

Meet the speakers.

Speaker after lunch is Jayvee, na Christian Grey ang peg ng outfit. He shared a lot of knowledge about layout-ing and design. I learned a lot though, since I'm also into layout and design stuff.

Jayvee isn't the last speaker by the way, it's Kent. But I wasn't able to attend to his talk because I need to go home immediately for reasons I won't tell you. =p Haha.

Meet EJ's editor-in-chief, Ralph Sekito and the two project heads of Signum, Will Perin and Marijoe Banson. Good job guys!

Here's my own certificate pala! Yaaaaay! I love it so much! Nice one Will and Marijoe! Harry Potter inspired pa talaga kaya I love it so much! Huge Potterhead here! Haha. :) Plus here's my check too! But I blurred the amount though. Sosyal naka check. Haha. :))

Had so much fun! It was a great pleasure to share my knowledge to where I got it. Just returning back the favor.

Thank you so much Education Journal! I miss everyone! :)

UST-ADMU Round 2

I almost forgot to blog about this already. Sorry. Haha. Been veeeeeeery busy lately with school, Green Berries and LET preparation.

Going back, it was a very crucial game for our team. Unfortunately, we did not make it. We were short for just quite a bit! There were a lot of tough calls during the game where it favors the other team a lot, that's why the referees of that game were currently suspended. See? There should be a rematch really!

If I write more about this game I'll just be nagging on how and why we lost. That's why I will just post photos of the game instead. PLUS! I finally brought my SLR! Wohoo! So expect high-res basketball photos. Yay! :)

And today, our boys just won against the UE Red Warriors. Now we're back on the 2nd spot with the FEU Tamarraws. Our final spot will just depend on how the NU-FEU match on Sunday will turn out. Hope NU wins though so we're solo on the 2nd spot and will have a twice-to-beat advantage. If FEU wins on Sunday, we'll have to deal with FEU again for 2nd spot. And we won't let that happen right? So, let's go NU! Hahaha :)

Till our next ball game,
