Skins season 5

Can you remember how obsessed I was with Skins? Ahuh. That was months ago. After finishing Skins seasons 1 to 4, I stopped, and didn't get to watch season 5. I don't know. Maybe I just don't want to have that feeling where after I watched everything all I can say is "That's it? I'm done with Skins?" I don't want to end up saying that.

But today, I started watching Skins season 5. Ended up watching it anyway. I seriously miss this series and I can't resist not watching it. I got to see 2 episodes, Franky's and Rich's.

There's something about this new generation, compared to the other two, especially the first generation. Well, let's say I'm biased cause I really love the first generation. Can't get enough of Sid and Cassie! <3

In this new generation, I don't know who to like at the moment. But let's start with Gracee and Franky. They're pretty cool though.

Basically, I don't know what to expect with this new season which casts a new generation, again. 3rd generation already! Why do they have to change the cast every two seasons? I guess it's their own strategy. I don't know.

Nevertheless, I'm excited to see the full season. Since they're currently shooting for season 6! Yaaaay! There's going to be another season for Skins. Can't wait! :)

I might consider re-watching Skins from the start, again. I wanna see Sid and Cassie fall in love all over again. I want to see how their friendship struggles and how they overcome it. Skins is really an amazing teen drama series worth spending time with.

Skins second generation

I've never loved watching series. Until I learned about Skins.

To cut it short, I got addicted to UK's series Skins. In less than a month I was able to finish 4 seasons which is equal to 38 episodes.

I started loving Skins since season 1 episode 1. Got to know the cast and learned to love them in their own ways. I love Sid and Cassie, forever. Did a blog post about it here. Season 2, same cast. Love it! It's all right here too!

I was so hype to see seasons 3 and 4 but too sad to leave seasons 1 and 2 because I already learned to love the first generation cast. Seasons 3 and 4 is composed of another cast, the second generation.

Today, I was able to finish season 4! Just like the first generation, someone died in the second generation but I won't spill out who. You've got to see it for yourself. :p

I have to agree with what most "Skins watchers" say that the first generation is better than the second generation. I second the motion. Nothing beats Tony-Sid-Michelle-Cassie-Jal-Chris-Anwar-Maxxie generation. But second generation's cool too. Way to go Effy-Freddie-Cook-Emily-Naomi-Katie-JJ-Thomas-Panda generation.

Don't have to compare the two generations though. They are different and special in their own way.

I've got one last season of Skins to see before I'm all done. Season 5 is another generation. Whew. New cast. Can't wait.

Half-excited yet half-disappointed. Excited coz I've to face new characters and personalities again. Disappointed coz once I'm done with season 5, no more Skins for me coz I've seen them all. Haaay.

I might just re-watch them all again when I get to the point of boredom. Haha!

Everyone has his own story to tell.

Sid went to New York to find Cassie. I know he really loves her. She's just going through a lot that's why she ran away. Cassie loves Sid forever <3

They are obviously my favorite casts from the series. I've mentioned in my previous post how much I love them and why. I swear, I really do love them. Though I said that I had to hate Sid because of what he did for Cassie, but still, I love them both.

And look what I found! A very cute drawing of them. I want to draw them too! <333

Tony and Michelle are getting better. They are taking it slow. I guess that's what you do when you really love someone.

Too disappointing that Chris had to die. It's not a good way to end the series though. I wanted him to live since he and Jal are happy together and will soon be parents.

Maxxie pursue his dreams of becoming a dancer. He went to London with his boyfriend James. Anwar went with them. Maxxie and Anwar, bestfriends till the end. I love how they were able to be bestfriends even if Maxxie's gay and Anwar's a Muslim. I salute them.

Plus I love this photo of them. Hahaha! Anwar looks just like Maxxie! =)))

Tadaaa! I'm done watching Skins seasons 1 & 2. It's just sad that from season 3 onwards all of 'em are not included in the cast anymore. Since they no longer are teens, Effy, Tony's little sister is taking over. A new batch of Skins characters are going to bloom.

Skins

I am not a fan of series nor watching TV, but I swear Skins got my attention.

I only watch Friends. That was before. Now I got Skins to add to my list of TV must-watch!

Meet the cast.

Above: Anwar, Maxxie, Sid, Chris Below: Effy, Jal, Cassie, Michelle, Tony.

Tony who's bestfriends with Sid who both like Michelle but preferred Tony. Cassie likes Sid but Sid likes Michelle but in the end Sid loved Cassie. Anwar and Maxxie were bestfriends. Anwar's a Muslim while Maxxie's gay. Jal is bestfriends with Michelle. Chris who likes their psychology teacher. And Effy, Tony's little sister.

But the characters that I learned to love the most were Sid and Cassie. They look so cute together! I love how down-to-earth Sid is and how Cassie expresses herself. They are so good together.

I'm so excited to see Skins Season 2. Looking forward to it! :)
