The Vow

I know I know it's a months-old movie but who cares? I only got to see it today! Haha. Don't judge me please? I really have this sakit of seeing movies late than never. It's what I really do. =p

Basically I was home alone this afternoon and the weather is such a bed weather. Instead of doing anything productive, I decided to be-lazy myself. So I took my usb and my player and watch a movie instead.

It was a spontaneous movie time really. The weather just gave me the clue that I should just lay down and let my eye do all the work. Decided that I think today's the right time to watch The Vow since a lot of my friends who saw it before told me that it really is a good movie and is a must-watch. The movie-enthusiast that I am, I let it sink in. I had to watch it today.

To accompany me while watching, I cooked mac n cheese and I also made coffee. It's such a rainy afternoon!

To cut the long story short, it was a very very good movie that I cried a lot. The last time I cried like this in a movie, as far as I can remember, was when Ickah and I watched The Notebook for the first time. Damn you Rachel McAdams! You always make me cry! Haha.

I'm such a movie-crybaby. You should get used to me. I cry a lot at movies like this.

Thoughts about the movie: *just my own thoughts okay? I know it's based on a real life story, I'm just saying :)
1. Paige, played by Rachel McAdams, should have worn her seat belt so she wouldn't be having her brain injured during the accident. Plus, the truck driver was so stupid. How come he didn't see their car on the way?

2. When you wake up to man as hot as Leo, played by Channing Tatum, or really, when you wake up to a man as hot as Channing Tatum will you still doubt him as your husband? No, I won't! Haha.

3. It was true love that brought them back together. Like what they always say, if you're really meant to be, you will always end up together.

4. The reason why I cried a lot? Because the way Leo loves Paige is so sincere. You can clearly see the sincerity in his words and especially in his eyes. Like when Paige asked Leo why he didn't tell her about her father's affair with another woman, he just told her, "I've always wanted to tell you but I don't want you to be apart from your parents." It's like he's ready to give himself up just so she can be with her parents. Awww. And then there's something he said like "I don't want you to love me just like that, I want to earn it. I just want you to be happy." And I was like, "OMGGGG! Sobs sobs sobs." Hahaha. My eyeglasses has moist all over that I can't see a thing already. Hahaha.

5. I was talking to myself like "Will I ever find a man who will love me like how Leo loved Paige?"

6. I was also thinking if how will Paige regain her memory. Since I think when you get amnesia it's really hard to bring back the memories.

7. What really tickles my mind is that why did Paige remember all her memories before he met Leo and forget everything from where she met Leo. Really weird. It really has to be from the point where she met Leo. And that really hurts in Leo's part. Like why does it have to be him only? Why forget everything about Leo-connected and remember everything before Leo came into her life? Weird.

8. I really love the ending though. They got back together but Paige's memory never came back. It really is true love. <3

9. No matter how your brain forgets something, your heart will always remember it. :)

10. Thank God that I watched it alone. If anyone was there with me, they'll be laughing at me the hardest because I really did cry a lot. It would be so embarrassing. =p

It was such a tear-jerker romantic movie. Totally moved my heart there.

So what are you waiting for? Go watch it! Now! But be ready with your hanky! :)

Movie suggestion: My Dog's Christmas Miracle

I wasn't supposed to see this movie but I got caught up.

This evening, after my sister and I came from the church we bought some isaw to have something to munch on. We decided to eat in front of our tv and not on the dining table. Jaja opened the television and searched through the channels and came across Fox movies.

We both got caught up with the title typed at the top, "My Dog's Christmas Miracle." It's about a dog! Awwww.

You guys have no idea how much we love dogs. We both have this very very soft spot for dogs. They're just so adorable!

It was 6:30 in the evening where we just sat there watching the movie while busy eating the isaw. We kept on saying, "Awwww," "So cuuuute!" "Doggieee!" Trust me, the main character, the dog, is sooooooooo cute!

She's a white Maltese named Cinnamon. Such a cutie.

Jaja and I still got stuff to do but forgot about it because of this dog. Hahaha. Didn't realize it was already 8 in the evening, only after the movie was done.

It was a very entertaining movie, considering that you are a dog lover. So if you are a dog lover, I suggest you watch this movie. It was a 2011 movie by the way, so it's barely new.

Here are some screen caps of Cinnamon baby.

Isn't she such a cutie? :)

Also a screen cap of some scenes from the movie.

In case this might help, here's the official trailer of the movie.

Will you watch it?

Breaking Dawn part 1

Finally had the time to see it! Saw it last Monday night. I just have to. Every one seemed to have seen it except me. And I felt like a loser.

Was supposed to see it with someone but I have to see it ASAP, so sorry, I'm in a major rush. Hahaha.

The truth is, I've read the series back when I was in my first year in college. I was so hooked up with it! I even finished reading New Moon in just a day! Talk about being obsessed. But honestly, I can't remember the story behind Breaking Dawn. What I remember is that Bella and Edward are getting married and that they're having a baby girl named Renesme and that she's half-human and half-vampire and after giving birth Bella's going to turn into a vampire and will have a special power too. After that, I can't remember anything.

Honeymoon! It was so romantic. I mean Edward was so romantic. While Bella was all sticky to the bones with Edward. Hahaha. Slutty little Bella.

The part where Bella's pregnant. Man she looked awful! Good job for the make-up artists! It was so realistic. It looked like she was really getting worse and worse.

There are some parts in the movie where I feel really sorry for Jacob. :(( But so happy that he imprinted with Renesme. No wonder he's so attached with Bella. :)

Another part that I liked was when Bella's turning into a vampire already. Her skin, her eyes, her body and everything about her was almost perfect. Her skin is so beautiful. And the red eyes, they're to die for! Poof! The movie ended there. Better luck next time.

The movie was really good. Among the 4 movies, it was the best! The movie was really romantic. I loved it.

And at least the movie was just short close to the book itself. It was good, really. Very good actually. It didn't disappoint me at all.

Plus the soundtrack! Perfect! Fits perfectly. Definitely owned it! Here's one from Bruno Mars, it was even one of my lss songs few days ago. :P

Now I can't wait to see the part 2. I've never been this stoke with the Twilight movie series before.

I'd definitely consider rereading the series. :)

PS.
I'm Team Edward. I fall harder every time you do that crooked smile Mr. Cullen :'>

Movies Night In

Since Sunday, PLDT is pissing me off. We've no internet connection since then until today morning.

Last Monday night I've got nothing to do. So I just decided to grab my hard drive and watch some romantic comedies. I've also noticed that I haven't been seeing any new movie for a while.

Didn't have a hard time deciding on what to watch. Picked A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song and Friends With Benefits.

So, let's start off.

A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song (2011)
It stars Lucy Hale and Freddie Stroma.

I really find Lucy pretty and in fairness, Freddie looks really good! Especially for a musician. It's just another cinderella story movie which revolves around music. If you're into Bruno Mars and Katy Perry type of music, you'll surely love this movie. You'll get a plenty dose of kilig too. Yikeee! :)

Here's a little trailer from the movie.

Friends With Benefits (2011)
Stars Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake.

I've always been a Justin Timberlake fan, since the N'Sync days. The time I heard that he'll be starring this movie, I got so excited! I can't wait to see him act again! But this time, he's into a steaming hot movie with Mila Kunis, another hot actress. Well, the movie was pretty hot. Really really hot. Hey kids below 13 years old, you should not see this movie! The movie's got a good plot. It's like you'll never guess what's going to happen next, yea, that kind of reaction. I had fun watching this movie. I hope you do too. Go watch it!

And the trailer.

Passport to Paris, to Monte Carlo

Spent my afternoon watching movies.

First on my list was Passport to Paris starring the Olsen Twins. This movie was released on the year 1999. More than 10 years ago!

Remembered myself watching this way way back then. Good thing I can still remember the title though.

The truth is, this was once my favorite movie, back when I was on my pre-teen years. I don't know how I remembered it but I do found myself downloading it. And was able to watch it again! Awwww. Childhood days. Never gets old.

I really love this movie. Still can't get over it. The thing is, the movie showed how teens in the US are very liberated and how they wanted to grow up so fast. Oh well. It's a different world after all.

Watch this trailer and you might wanna like it too. :)

After going to Paris let's go to Monte Carlo!

So, right after seeing Passport to Paris, saw Selena Gomez's Monte Carlo movie. All I can say is, Leighton Meester is so beautiful! Selena Gomez is cute. And the plot of the story for me is 9/10.

The movie was simple yet was very meaningful. Though a lot of people would say that it was like Hilary Duff's Lizzie McGuire movie, but I beg to disagree. Maybe the part of Selena having a famous look-a-like stuff can be considered the same but the main story and plot was sooooooo way different. And trust me, the lesson that this movie wanted to give was very timely. Thank you very much.

Trailer for a good cause. See the movie now!

Hoping to watch more movies this weekend! :)

Something Borrowed

There's this movie entitled "Something Borrowed."

Which is really is book.

And it's all about the friendship and love among these four people.

Rachel (brunette) and Darcy (blonde) are bestfriends since they can remember. Rachel went to law school and met Dex (the one beside Darcy). They obviously like each other but hesitated to tell each other. One night, at a bar, while Rachel and Dex were busy talking to each other, Darcy came. After 6 years, Darcy and Dex are engaged and are getting married in a few weeks. During Rachel's 30th birthday, she and Dex learned that they really love each other. In the other side, Rachel's friend Ethan (the guy beside Rachel) told Rachel that he likes him. But, he accepted the fact that he's just a friend for Rachel.

Here comes the climax, Rachel asked Dex to cool off the wedding. What will Dex do? Will the truth be okay between Rachel and her bestfriend Darcy? Is it something that they should really do?

Would you exchange love for friendship or friendship for love? Are you willing to take the risk and sacrifice with the consequence that big?

I've seen the movie. Now it's your turn to see what happens among these 4 people.

Penelope

Because I don't want to review anymore. Because I want to kill time. Because I've got nothing else to do. Because because because. Oh reasons.

By the way, you guys should see this movie, Penelope. It's about a girl who was cursed to have the nose of a pig. And the only way to break the spell is when someone like her loves her. You better watch the movie to find out what happens next.

Sabrina

I am not an Audrey Hepburn fan. I don't appreciate her fashion sense. Not right after I watched her movie Sabrina. *scratch the first two sentences*

In our Humanities course, we were asked to make a critique paper on a classical movie and a modern movie. Instantly thought about Harry Potter for my modern movie, specifically the Goblet of Fire because it's my favorite HP movie among the seven HP movies.

I was having a hard time on what classical movie I should work on. I love watching movies, yes that's a fact, but I don't watch classic movies. I thought about the movie "Sound of Music" and remembered it was a classical movie. But then again, one of my classmates has it already. Nice try.

One weekday night, I was browsing Google for worth-watching classical movies. And there I found Audrey Hepburn's movie "Sabrina."

At first I thought it was Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I was so stoked to watch it because it's merely similar to Harry Potter because of the wizard-witch connection. Later I found out that it was a love story and not witches with broomstick and magic wands.

Last night I watched Sabrina before I went to sleep. And there it goes ...

I loved it! Never thought I'd spend an hour and a half just to watch a classic movie, at the same time it's in black and white! It's pretty awesome though. Just lovely! Audrey Hepburn is so pretty! The way she moves, she's so graceful. I love the way she talks, cute accent.

About the story, it was good. It was really a classic love story in which we seldom see in today's modern love story. There really is a gap between the classic and the modern movies. Another thing, I loved it because one of the settings is on Paris. They showed the lovely Eiffel Tower on the movie. Plus point for that movie!

The thing is, I didn't like the ending that much. I thought she'd end up with the guy I wanted her to end up with. But naaah. She chose the other guy. Well, it's a classic love story after all.

If you wanna see the movie you can download a torrent copy here. Note: it's really in black and white. And this one's a good copy. Go help yourself. :)

You may want to see the trailer.

She's Not Out of Your League, Dude

I remember Justin telling me to watch this movie. It was months ago, July, when he told me to see this movie, She's Out of my League. He did a little summary about the movie and I got stoked about it and decided to download it right away. But, unfortunately, I haven't seen the movie, not until today.

I've got tons to do but I don't feel like I have any so I decided to see some of the movies I have in this computer that I am using. For today I picked She's Out of my League. And I guess I made the right choice.

What if you met a super hot chick or a super hot guy and you're just an ordinary person and suddenly you know s/he's falling for you, will you give it a shot? Meet Kurt, a 5-rated guy who made a hard 10-rated girl, Molly, who fell in love with him in a flash.

And the rest is up to you guys! Another recommended movie. Go hit the download button now!

Here's the trailer of the movie She's Out of My League. To help you picture out the story.

So, what do you say? Will you give it a try? Go naaa! :)

First Angus, Thongs book.

Today I reached the finish line reading Georgia Nicolson's Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging book 1. And I've got more to go. I don't know the exact number of books her series has, but who cares, I'm reading them all anyway.

I saw its movie first before I had the chance to read the book. The title of the movie's a bit different: Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, which I think is better. At first, I thought it really is just a movie. Then a friend asked me if I've read the book. I didn't know it came from a book! Searched all local bookstores to find a book. Unfortunately, can't find one. So I searched the internet and just downloaded an e-book copy of it. I even got a copy of all the books. For free!

But here's the thing, the movie made a LOT of changes. And I really mean a LOT. To rate it, 2 out of ten were the same. The fact: I like the movie more. :)

Now, I recommend you guys read this book. It's quite fun, worth-the-laugh and romantic. <333
