What's hot

Howdie! It's been 5 months since I last updated my blog. It was all a huge personal issue. I guess I'm back? Hopefully. Despite all the busy-ness I may have to encounter for the next 4 years of my life.

Anywaaaaaay, what's up readers? I miss my blog sooooooooo muuuuuuuuuuuuch! I pray that I may update at least 1 blog post per week.

Basically, I just want to blog because of these 3 things:
1. I'm in medschool everyone! Say hello to that! Who would have thought. Seriously, who would have thought. I'm a math major, please. :)) Huge huge huge adjustment here.

2. I want to share my current playlist. But that'll be in a separate blog post when I find time to do so.

3. UAAP SEASON 76 is up! And we're currently in a 2-0 win-lose standing. Go USTe!

Anyone in here saw today's ADMU-DLSU match? It was intense! And high quality basketball! La Salle FINALLY slipping a win through the Ateneo winning streak against them. I know how heart-breaking it is for the Ateneans to see their team at the bottom, but guys, don't lose hope, it's just the beginning and it's a long way up to the last day of the elimination round. You will get through. :) And props to La Salle for winning! I always knew that this year's La Salle team would be a tougher one compared to the La Salle team last year. It's a good thing UST was able to win despite the overtime though. Haha.

I personally would like to commend Chris Newsome of Ateneo. What a rookie! He's got the moves and the mental toughness an effective player has to have. This guy is future.

That's all for now folks! Have to study for Physio and Ana in a while. Till next! :)

PS.
Please forgive my side bar panel for it still need to be updated, especially my details.

Glob I miss my blog!

UAAP volleyball

I was able to witness the UST vs DLSU UAAP women's volleyball match last January 26, 2013 at the San Juan Arena. Was expecting La Salle to win and they didn't let me down. Oh well UST. Haha. Anyway, here are some of my shots! Used a Nikon D7000 camera. Not so steady shots but atleast! :)

Can't wait for finals! I hope UST can catch up really soon and will make it to the finals! :)

UST-ADMU Round 2

I almost forgot to blog about this already. Sorry. Haha. Been veeeeeeery busy lately with school, Green Berries and LET preparation.

Going back, it was a very crucial game for our team. Unfortunately, we did not make it. We were short for just quite a bit! There were a lot of tough calls during the game where it favors the other team a lot, that's why the referees of that game were currently suspended. See? There should be a rematch really!

If I write more about this game I'll just be nagging on how and why we lost. That's why I will just post photos of the game instead. PLUS! I finally brought my SLR! Wohoo! So expect high-res basketball photos. Yay! :)

And today, our boys just won against the UE Red Warriors. Now we're back on the 2nd spot with the FEU Tamarraws. Our final spot will just depend on how the NU-FEU match on Sunday will turn out. Hope NU wins though so we're solo on the 2nd spot and will have a twice-to-beat advantage. If FEU wins on Sunday, we'll have to deal with FEU again for 2nd spot. And we won't let that happen right? So, let's go NU! Hahaha :)

Till our next ball game,

UST-DLSU Round 2

The game was scheduled on a wednesday noon. Thank God I only have my 9-11 class during wednesdays so I was able to watch the game live. I was with my childhood friends and classmates, and by childhood classmates I mean really childhood classmates, since our nursery days the three of us are already classmates. Until we reached college, we may not be classmates but we all came from the same university, UST. Anyway, it's about time I spend some quality time with people at my age. And this was one of those perfect times, UAAP ball game!

We made it just in time for the 1st quarter. Thought we're going to miss the first half though. It was Axl's fault really. Haha. :p

Was with Axl and Joseph by the way. I haven't mentioned who I was with yet. Sorry 'bout that. :)

Unfortunately, we lost. It was really a heartbreaking lost. Mariano and Afuang got fouled out. Teng's offense and defense are not working. And the ever tight defense of Ferrer did not work too. It was all about defense why our boys from UST lost. It was a hard fight. And I congratulate the boys from the DLSU team for winning. No hard feelings. It was just a game. :)

Axl, Joseph and I were one of the abangers after the game. I think we wait for a good 1 hour and a few minutes before the players showed up.

The boys were so upset about the lost. I know, it was a very crucial and important game for the team. But the boys still managed to smile for the cameras. Thank you boys!

Hello Coach Dopids! :)

Idol Aljon. Look how sad he looks in this photo. :( I need a better photo with him next time! And he must be happy and smiling too. :) *look at the guy behind Aljon haha

BOY YOU GOT MY HEART BEAT RUNNING AWAY! Imagine how fast my heart was beating at that time. I love this baller since his rookie year in UST. Plus I have his UST jersey. Yay!

Jeric "Bang bang" Teng, his new middle name. Haha. Hi Ponzi! :p

Nahiya naman ako sa height ni Abdul! It's depressing. Haha. :((

Tata is the sweetest. He was just standing beside their bus then I approached him talaga ng basta basta lang. So bait and sweet. That hand over my shoulder, that's the hand of the best 3-point shooter this season! Yeah!

I got photos with the famous UST big heads too. Mga pauso ng UST. Very unique talaga. :)

After all the buzz with the boys, Axl and I went to Starbucks to avail the half-priced promo. Spent a lot of time in Starbucks for chika and stuff. God I miss my friends! Catching up is something I really must do once in a while. I noticed that I've been so left behind with everything. Guess I'm really busy with everything right now but I know, being busy is not a good excuse.

Anyway, I learned an alternative and cheaper way to get home from MOA besides taking the cab. Haha. There's an FX pala there who pass by UST for only 40php. Plus the jeep-LRT-jeep from UST to MOA. Now I know! And now it's easier and cheaper to get back and forth from UST and MOA.

Thank you Axl and Joseph! Till our next UAAP ball game together! :)

Next up! UST vs UP this Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the MOA Arena. Show them the spirit of the Yellow crowd! Go USTe!

I will not watch the game this Saturday though but I will be 101% present on the UST-ADMU game on Sept. 15 at the MOA Arena. I have a talk in the morning though so after my talk I have to rush and go support our boys. AND I'M BRINGING MY SLR THIS TIME!!!

For UST, let's go fight! One for UST!

How'd you love the yellow crowd?

UST-DLSU Round 1

This post was in draft for more than 4 days already. Haha! Sorry bout that. :))

I have always been a UAAP fan. I remember season 69 when UST grabbed the gold for the men's basketball senior division. It was epic! I was in 3rd year high school back then. It was a thursday, kasi umabot ng game 3 yung championship between UST and Ateneo. Si Jojo Duncil pa star player ng UST nun and it was Coach Pido Jarencio's first coaching year sa UST. Bongga ng pilot year! So bale, we have afternoon classes nun and I have a friend na taga-update ng game. May katext siya na nanunuod ng game. Every once in a while updated kami sa score. Umabot pa ng overtime yung game! And UST won by 2! It was really epic! Naabutan ko pa yung OT sa bahay eh. Haha. The famous missed free throws ni Japs Cuan na sana more than 2 ang lamang ng UST. Okay, nagkwento na ako? :))

Fast forward to the present, last Saturday, Jaja, Jamie and I watched the UST-DLSU match live at MOA Arena. It's my first time watching this season but I have watched a few back in my college years.

We had a hard time getting to MOA because it was raining hard. From UST we had to take a cab but there were some people who were looking for cab besides us. So maraming karibal. Fortunately, by 1:10 we got a cab and went directly to the venue. Good thing the traffic was a bit light though thinking we couldn't make it to the 2pm game.

When we arrived the arena, there were very long lines waiting to get in the venue for the game. But we were just in time when we got in. The first five players were being called when we found our seats. Just in time!

It looks like an Abdul-Andrada match up here.

Our very cute and friendly Yellow Jackets.

Now it's Afuang and DLSU's number 9 guy match up.

Our very own Tata Bautista!

The two Jeric's of UST.

This huge face poster of Coach Pido totally nailed it.

I've witnessed this UST-DLSU halftime break before already. I was expecting to see it again in this match and guess what, they didn't let me down. It's so good to see UST and DLSU being friends after all this time. :)

Yellow and green looks so good together!

Yellow being my school's color and green being my favorite color. I'm so into this!

Sea of yellow crowd.

Good job guys!

Abdul-Ramos! It's Ramos right? :))

O! Depensa!

Eeeeh! Ooohhh!

Clash of the Ti-Tengs. Kuya Jeric vs Baby Jeron!

Final score!

Good finish boys.

Next game, ADMU-UE.

Jaja and Jamie :)

Us three.

Me and Mom :)

And look what I found in TomasinoWeb's facebook, it's us on the yellow crowd during the game! I just came across this on facebook and instantly spotted us. Haha. Plus it's on a Jeric Fortuna shot pa. Weee. <3 Haha.

I want to share to you guys pa naman sana a lot of stuff about this match pero nawala nang lahat ng yun because of the days lost dahil sa habagat na yan. Haaay. I'd make bawi next time on my next UAAP blog post. :)

Next match is on Sunday vs the UE Red Warriors, 4pm at the Araneta Coliseum. I'll be watching on tv land coz I just want to stay home for the rest of the day tomorrow.

There's a replay of this UST-DLSU match tomorrow at Studio23 around 9:30 in the evening. I'd definitely see it! I wanna see how it was on tv while I was busy shouting in the arena. And I wanna see the loud yellow crowd. :)

Go loud and proud, Go USTe!
